Side tables at CMU

Van Diemen owns various collections, which are regarded as materials. In the display corridor of her own design in Centraal Museum Utrecht, sets of side tables are presented but remain only partly visible.

Van Diemen interferes with the notion of daily perception of ordinary industrial objects and invites her audiences to gain a new awareness of seemingly everyday observations.
