Design for hospital Waterland in Purmerend. To brighten a stay in the hospital (and ahead of developments with smartphones), studio Waterland offered patients and visitors the opportunity to record a one-minute film.

During recording, the ‘lens’ turned from transparent to matte, and backlighting inside the studio projected the silhouettes of the recording guests onto the ‘lens’.
The film could either be sent privately or made public on the specially created website, www.waterlanders.eu , thus questioning the growing tendency of public display of private matters.
